On Thursday, July 18, 2019, the 2019 South Carolina Beekeeper of the Year Award was presented to our own Susan Marie Jones for her outstanding work in beekeeping education. The presentation was made by SCBA President Kerry Owen of Bee Well Honey at the Eastern Apiculture Conference hosted in Greenville, SC by the South Carolina Beekeepers Association.
